Gary Schroeder comes to his position with a combined 28 years of pastoral experience in two Baptist General Conference churches. His wide-ranging personal and ministry experiences have been used by God to equip Gary for his role as a consultant, pastoral care-giver and friend to pastoral families and churches in our district.
Gary's goal, as he ministers echoes Paul's statement in Col 2:2:
"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom is hidden all the treasures of hope and wisdom"

Linda Penney began working part-time at Converge MidAtlantic office in the spring of 1999. She currently fills the position of Office Assistant, but is so much more! Chances are when you call on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, it's Linda that you will talk to first - except in the summer when she takes off to oversee the activities of her 2 children.
Husband, Jim Penney, and a golden retriever, round out her immediate family. The Penney's attend the Church of The Rock in Poland, Ohio.
Linda is quite creative and artistic, and enjoys "crafty" projects, relaxing by the pool and being a "roadie" and costumer for her Elvis Tribute Artist husband.
