Hanging Out at the LEADTeam PartyLEADTeams: Catalysts for Church Multiplication, Mobilization and Pastoral Support

What would you say to 24 hours of study, prayer, dreaming and strategizing mixed in with some fellowship and fun with others who share common ground with you?

If you're a pastor or a church planter in Converge MidAtlantic, you have the opportunity to join with other leaders in your region once each quarter for an overnight get together in a hotel, bed and breakfast or other site where you'll use the time for just such activities.

The CrawfordsThe HallsLEADTeams are a tool of TeAmerica that are meant to strengthen relationships among pastors and leaders in each district and nationwide. They have a specific purpose.

The LEADTeam Purpose:

The purpose of LEADTeams is to Learn, Encourage, Achieve and Dream. During the 24 hour period when teams get together, activities are constructed to facilitate those purposes.

The DC LEADTeam

Each team is made up of six to 12 pastors or key leaders who will attempt to facilitate the planting of at least one church each year and mobilize (or revitalize) at least one other church each year. The individual team will have a designated Head Coach who is selected by the District Executive Minister and who will give direction to the team. Each team will have a designated TeAmerica Representative who will try to attend all major national meetings.

When the pastors get together, they follow a schedule that looks something like, but is not limited to this:
