Kathy Harmon – Set up “True Identity”, a
program to meet the needs of women in their church and out into the community

Yvonne Clark started an after-school service program for neighborhood
children and their families called “Walker’s Neighborhood House”.
The mission of this organization, which is located in a low-income area, is
to provide a place for the youth of the area to go for educational assistance
in reading, math, and computer skills. Walker’s House hopes to help breathe
life back into this impoverished neighborhood and so will be working with the
kids’ families as well. (If you never had a chance to talk to her about
it, you should. It is amazing to hear all the doors God has opened with regard
to the program. He provided a building, #34 college students from a nearby college
to tutor, etc.).

her church of all sorts of Social Services available in her community. The last

Weekend in Paradise: Remembering the Spouse of Your Youth Marriage Retreat based
on Proverbs 5:17-19 "Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers.
May your fountain be blessed, and may you” rejoice in the wife of your
youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer - may her breasts satisfy you always, may
you never be captivated by her love." and Malachi 2:15b “Now is the
time to "guard [your marriage] in your spirit, and...not break faith with
the wife of your youth" Trina says: “It is almost weekly now that
you hear of another couple on the verge of divorce. Lives are being torn a part
and Christian homes are beginning to look no different than any other home.
There is a need for married couples to return to their first love - God. There
is a need for husbands and wives to return to the love that God has blessed
them with - each other. This marriage retreat is meant to serve as a tool to
help husbands love their wives as Christ loves the church and for wives to fully
understand the biblical principles of being a Godly wife. Sessions focus on
keeping God first in your marriage, communication, love and respect, sex and
keeping the WOW in your Vows. We will swap ideas and begin an accountability
relationship with each other. After the retreat, my husband and I will continue
working on various workshops and date nights quarterly to help husbands and
wives along this beautiful, fulfilling, life-long commitment - Marriage!”
